πŸ“’ Preparing for Adulthood Live Event – Free SEND Support Event

Parents, carers, students, families and support networks are invited to attend the Preparing for Adulthood Live Event.

πŸ“… Date: Thursday 25 June 2026
πŸ• Time: 1:30pm – 6:30pm
🎟️ Tickets: Free, but attendees need to request a time slot in advance
πŸ”— Book here: https://pfalive.eventbrite.co.uk

This event is open to young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), with or without an EHCP.

The event will bring together organisations from education, employment, health, social care and community services. It is a great opportunity for young people and their families to explore future pathways, ask questions, gather information and connect with local support.

The event has been designed to offer a calm, structured and sensory-aware environment. A provider booklet and room layout map will also be available in advance to help attendees plan their visit and reduce anxiety.

Please share with anyone who may benefit from attending.

Important Reminder for Parents, Carers & Visitors

We would like to remind everyone to please drive carefully and considerately when arriving at and leaving our site, particularly along Norwood Drive and surrounding residential areas.

This is a residential neighbourhood with families, young children, and pets. We kindly ask that you:

Keep your speed low at all times
Be mindful of pedestrians and other road users
Park considerately and safely
Take any litter with you

We understand that mornings can be busy, but the safety and wellbeing of our community must always come first.

Thank you for your continued support and cooperation

Reminder for tomorrow:

We’re inviting all parents and carers of students attending Sheaf Training to join us for a special Parent Group Meeting β˜•πŸ’¬

πŸ“… Tuesday 10th March
πŸ•™ 10am-12pm
πŸ“ In person at Sheaf

This coffee morning, facilitated by Sheffield Parent Carer Forum as part of the Autism in Schools Project, is a wonderful opportunity to:
✨ Meet other parents
✨ Share experiences
✨ Access peer support
✨ Chat to people who understand
✨ Have your parent/carer voice heard

This session will sadly be the last coffee morning facilitated by the Parent Carer Forum. We want to say a huge thank you to Anna for her support and the space she's created for our families ❀️

The good news is that Sheaf staff and the Parent Carer Forum will continue working together, and we would love to start facilitating our own sessions for parents and carers going forward.

We really want this to be shaped by you β€” what would you like future sessions to look like?
β€’ Informal coffee and chat?
β€’ Guest speakers?
β€’ Workshops?
β€’ Themed discussions?
β€’ Evening sessions?
Please come along on the 10th to share your ideas, or comment/message us with your thoughts. Your voice matters, and we’d love to build something meaningful together 🀝
To confirm attendance or for more information, please email:
πŸ“§ [email protected]
We hope to see you there!
