After the success of the first 10 week Powerbelle programme, I am excited to announce we are running another 10 weeks in January 2015! Come and join us if you want toโ€ฆ

Learn new and effective transferable skills -
We will not only ensure that everyone is taught how to perform key compound/strength lifts but introduce functional training methods and new skills such as Olympic weightlifting. Trai

n with other like-minded women -
You will attend a weekly group training session with other women trying to reach their training goals. Ability can range from complete beginner to experienced athlete. You will be given programmes to follow and be supervised by our female strength and conditioning and weightlifting coaches. Lose body fat and improve muscle tone -
You have heard of the quote 'Strong is sexy'. Lifting heavy weight is key to becoming strong and 'toned'. You will undertake a range of specific conditioning circuits aimed at losing body fat and improving body composition. Become stronger and more powerful -
Strength and power are both important for sport performance; we will develop and monitor your progress using a variety of training and testing techniques. Reduce your risk of injury -
All of the programme will be based around performing correct movement patterns and developing mobility and flexibility. These will reduce the risk of injury and improve application of movement for performance.

6.00pm & 7.30pm Monday evening session's available at Sheffield Hallam University Strength and Conditioning Facility.

We hope your lockdown life is going ok and you are staying relatively fit and healthy.

Gym's haven't been given the go ahead to open yet. When they are we will be working with the University to explore what we can do when in line with government advice and your safety.

We look forward to seeing all Powerbellers again when we have the green light to start up again.

Who knew Powerbelle also run a program called Powerbelle Prep? It's a lower intensity, easy access programne for women who have never exercised or who have been ill or injured. It runs on a Monday evening 6.30-8pm. Get in touch for more info.

Great training session tonight. First few weeks I feel are always best for conditioning and Shiv I love it. Not lifting much barely even bar put my muscles feel good for having some resistance and not any additional pain. Woohoo
