The Sheffield College Adopting a 'one college approach', we operate from a number of sites across the city with fantastic facilities at each.

The Sheffield College, based across four vibrant campuses in Sheffield, is a further and higher education college that provides academic, vocational and professional qualifications to approximately 13,000 young people and adults a year. The Sheffield College is a Further Education College in the Sheffield City Region, providing high quality academic and vocational training to enhance qualification

s, skills and employability across the region. We work in close partnership with schools, universities and employers to ensure that our provision is responsive to the needs of the city, our students, and the wider skills market. Our campuses include City, Hillsborough, Olive Grove, Peaks, Fir Vale and Eyre Street. We offer a range of learner and training opportunities on full and part time basis from entry levels through to foundation degrees, as well as a number of high quality Apprenticeship opportunities. Our curriculum provides routes to learn new skills and opportunities to refresh skills in a sociable and welcoming atmosphere, with award winning student support services. Many of our learners go on to contribute to Sheffield’s thriving economy and success and, as a result of their time with us, enjoy productive and high value employment, and rewarding lives.

Here is your reminder if you're sitting your exams with us, please make sure you've read the below information:

⭐arrive at least 45 minutes before the start time and head straight to your exam room

⭐staff will be available to help you when you arrive if you've forgotten anything

What a month May has been! ☀️

May has been absolutely jam-packed at The Sheffield College, with so many exciting things happening and achievements to celebrate.

At the start of the month, we welcomed the Sheffield community to our Community Open Day. We also hosted our Apprenticeship Awards, where we celebrated the achievements of our amazing apprentices.

Other highlights from May include:

Pride Month 2026 is here! 🏳️‍🌈✨

The Sheffield College is proud to stand side by side with LGBTQ+ communities in Sheffield and around the world. Celebrating equality and diversity and showing that we’re always stronger, better, and prouder together.

There are lots of ways for staff and students to get involved this month. Here are just a few events happening across college:
