The Sheffield College Adopting a 'one college approach', we operate from a number of sites across the city with fantastic facilities at each.

The Sheffield College, based across four vibrant campuses in Sheffield, is a further and higher education college that provides academic, vocational and professional qualifications to approximately 13,000 young people and adults a year. The Sheffield College is a Further Education College in the Sheffield City Region, providing high quality academic and vocational training to enhance qualifications, skills and employability across the region. We work in close partnership with schools, universities and employers to ensure that our provision is responsive to the needs of the city, our students, and the wider skills market. Our campuses include City, Hillsborough, Olive Grove, Peaks, Fir Vale and Eyre Street. We offer a range of learner and training opportunities on full and part time basis from entry levels through to foundation degrees, as well as a number of high quality Apprenticeship opportunities. Our curriculum provides routes to learn new skills and opportunities to refresh skills in a sociable and welcoming atmosphere, with award winning student support services. Many of our learners go on to contribute to Sheffield’s thriving economy and success and, as a result of their time with us, enjoy productive and high value employment, and rewarding lives.

Catering students reflect on their culinary study trip in Hong Kong. 🏆🍜

Three of our Level 3 Catering students, Amos, Destiny and Luke, have returned from a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Hong Kong after winning the Zest Quest 2025 competition with their Asian fusion menu, Taste of Sichuan.

During the trip, they learned new culinary techniques at Lee K*m Kee's headquarters, explored local wet markets and experienced some of Hong Kong's best restaurants.

Amos described the experience as ""unforgettable"", adding that cooking at the Lee K*m Kee headquarters was his highlight.

Next year, the trio will create 1,000 canapés for guests at the Zest Quest Asia final and gala dinner.

It's Open Day this Thursday!

As part of our first college-wide Open Day of the year, our Advanced Technology Centre will be open from 4-7pm, showcasing all of the sectors available to study there, including:
- Motor Vehicle
- Plumbing
- Engineering

If you're good at problem-solving and would love a hands-on career, our Advanced Technology Centre is a great place to start.

We offer T Levels in all these areas, so make sure you ask about taking on a T Level when you visit!

It's T Levels Week!

T Levels are a fantastic option for students who are looking to learn a profession alongside getting real world experience, and here at The Sheffield College, we're going to be celebrating T Levels all week.

What better place to start than by showcasing some of the amazing results our T Level students received this last year. Our students received 100% pass rate in our Business Support and Digital Infrastructure T Levels. What's more, across all of our T Levels, nearly 70% of our students received merits or distinctions with their qualifications.

With results like these, many of our T Level students have gone on to university to further their studies. We'll be showcasing more of their achievements later in the week so stay tuned!
