GCSE Science is currently taught by most schools over a 3 year period, starting in year 9 and concluding in year 11. Our aim is to cover all modules of work in a robust and competent manner. Each module of work is carefully put together and each student is p
rovided with an examination pack which contains bespoke examination material, as well as resource booklets, progress assessment checks and numerous course handouts. In addition, students will each receive an overview for each module outlining the course specification, but written in a way that is both accessible and easily understood by all. We fully believe that students need to be able to take responsibility for their own learning and so our aim is to guide students through a series of topic areas whilst focussing on examination technique and examination practise. As a fully qualified and highly experienced teacher of over 15 years, I have been tutoring for many years and previously worked for 10 years, teaching both GCSE and A-level Science, in an Ofsted rated 'Outstanding' secondary school. The course costs include all resources with no extra fees. Students are allocated places in groups based on a number of carefully considered factors, such as; the examination board followed, individual ability levels, and peer relationships. Sessions run for one and a half hours with a maximum of 4 students per group. Most sessions are carried out in person in Dorridge, Solihull but a small number still continue to be delivered remotely.
