Welcome back after half-term. We have just over 6 weeks of the academic year left and it’s packed full of exciting events, including a Visual Arts Exhibition, Awards Evening, Careers Fair, Stretch & Challenge Summer School, Year 10 & Year 11 Taster Days, Summit Conference and End of Year Celebration. It’s the last day of the first half of the Spring Term today. Why not get an ice cream from the ice cream van on campus or a biscuit from the Refectory for National Biscuit Day! There are no lessons (or exams) next week, and we will return to lessons on Monday 1 June. Enjoy half-term.

Calling all current students – are you looking for a place to revise during the half-term holidays? The Learning Resource Centre will be open from 10am – 4pm on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday next week. Learners must bring their ID card and lanyard and will only be able to access the LRC. No catering services will be available, but students can bring a packed lunch in with them.

Calling all Year 11 learners with an offer! On Wednesday we are opening up bookings for Welcome to College Day. Taking place on Thursday 2 July, this event will allow students with offers to attend taster classes in all the subjects they have an offer in and learn about new courses if they are thinking of requesting a change. Students must book their place by Wednesday 27 May if they want to attend. See the email that goes out on Wednesday for more information.
