- Grated parmesan cheese (used 1/4 packet)
- Mushrooms (used three)
- Tagliatelle pasta (used three nests)

Virtual Reality may help train hearing for children with cochlear implants
Our researchers at the University of Southampton Auditory Implant Service are working as part of a National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) trial to see if Virtual Reality games can help improve hearing for young people with bilateral (both ears) cochlear implants.
The BEARS project, led by Guys and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust (GSTT) and the University of Cambridge, aims to find out if VR can help children with two implants to better locate sounds and separate speech from background noise.
Over 160 young people are taking part at 11 sites in the UK.
