This is BIG!

The USS trustee which manages the pension scheme has released new data which vindicates UCU

It shows that the scheme has gone from strength to strength and that the cost of restoring benefits has fallen to a new low

But there's more: the scheme's surplus has grown to £5.6bn

The cuts should never have happened and there is no credible reason not to revoke them

Tomorrow we strike again - keep up the pressure

We made a great start to our campaign this week, but it doesn't stop there. We will be on strike again on the 30th, continuing to argue for fairer pay, stable contracts and the restoration of our pensions.

If you're able, consider making the trip to London to join the national rally at 1pm outside Kings Cross Station. If not, our local picketers will be out in force again as well!
