Team Southampton embodies all University of Southampton sport. This includes all Athletic Union club

Team Southampton includes our 88 AU teams, 60+ IM teams, and Sport Participation campaigns. We're part of the Students' Union and cater for individuals that play at all levels. With over 5,000 members in a variety of sports clubs - from American Football to Wakeboarding and Ultimate Frisbee to Cricket, we are one of the largest university sports programs in the country. Sport fixtures are generall

y played on Wednesday afternoons and weekends. We have access to a variety of different sports facilities including a 76 acre outdoor sports ground, a top class sports centre and a watersports centre to name a few. We also host an annual Varsity event against the University of Portsmouth in which we compete to win the coveted Varsity trophy. Following yet another win last year, in 2020 we visit the competition back in Southampton to defend our trophy. At the end of each year we have the Team Southampton Ball which celebrates the success of all clubs of the past year. Recently we have hosted this at St.Mary's Stadium, home of Southampton FC and the evening has included the Team Southampton Awards. 🏆 Varsity 2023 Champions 🏆 Team Southampton once again led us to an incredible victory over Team Pompey 🎉 Final score was 138 - 90! A huge well done to everyone who took part, and thank you to everyone who came along to cheer on our teams and sports stars ⭐️

Well done to Southampton University Cricket Club for winning Club of The Month for January! The club won for joining together to work with several different groups to make a massive positive impact onto the local and national community.

💛 "On the 10th of December, SUCC hosted a 24 hour cricket charity event in aid of MacMillan, OddBalls and Mind. This was a mammoth operation to plan and undertake by the committee and on the day it ran like clockwork. They managed to raise £1400 within 24 hours of the event even starting, and currently have raised more than £2700. They opened this up to all society within Southampton University and they managed to make such an inclusive environment, and everyone was able to have so much fun in aid of three great causes. Furthermore, they really put Southampton University on the map to a wider audience by inviting YouTubers, Dan and Kez, from WeCricket who have around 400k subscribers."
