Team Southampton includes our 88 AU teams, 60+ IM teams, and Sport Participation campaigns. We're part of the Students' Union and cater for individuals that play at all levels. With over 5,000 members in a variety of sports clubs - from American Football to Wakeboarding and Ultimate Frisbee to Cricket, we are one of the largest university sports programs in the country. y played on Wednesday afternoons and weekends. We have access to a variety of different sports facilities including a 76 acre outdoor sports ground, a top class sports centre and a watersports centre to name a few. We also host an annual Varsity event against the University of Portsmouth in which we compete to win the coveted Varsity trophy. Following yet another win last year, in 2020 we visit the competition back in Southampton to defend our trophy. At the end of each year we have the Team Southampton Ball which celebrates the success of all clubs of the past year. Recently we have hosted this at St.Mary's Stadium, home of Southampton FC and the evening has included the Team Southampton Awards.
