Calling all summer 2025 graduates! 🎓 Did you complete your maritime officer cadetship programme, maritime business or yacht design degree with us between May and July 2025? If so, it’s your turn to complete the Graduate Outcomes survey.

The survey is administered by HESA and by now you should have received an email, with a unique link to use. It only takes 10 minutes to complete but will have an impact for years to come. Find out more about the survey at solent.ac.uk/graduate-outcomes

Completing the survey will help us evaluate our courses and help future students gain insight into the career destinations of Solent graduates. Whether you are undertaking further study, in full-time employment, working freelance or self-employed, we’d love to hear about your success.

A huge thank you to everyone who has already completed the survey. We wish you continued success from everyone at Solent University, Southampton and Warsash Maritime School 👏

We recently welcomed our first cohort of GAMMA Marine to our campus in Southampton following the successful completion of their initial phase of learning in Navi Mumbai.

This pilot course has been developed through a collaborative partnership to deliver the CertHE in Nautical Science, enabling students to work towards achieving their Officer of the Watch Certificate of Competency.

The programme combines academic excellence with industry-focused training, providing students with the knowledge, practical skills, and professional competencies required for a successful career at sea.

This exciting initiative strengthens international educational links, broadens opportunities for aspiring maritime professionals, and reflects our shared commitment to developing the next generation of highly skilled officers for the global maritime industry.
