EX Freshman Phorum : 6 Army Air Corps

Some things you can explain in a classroom. Others, you need to experience.

Our Officer Cadets spent the visit getting hands-on with Army aviation, from Forward Arming and Refuelling Point (FARP) convoy movements and live drills to underslung loads, aircraft movement and casualty scenarios.

The urban package brought method of entry and abseiling sessions, before getting airborne in an AAC helicopter and seeing first-hand how aviation supports soldiers on the ground.

A fantastic opportunity to challenge ourselves, learn from those around us and experience Army aviation up close.

Huge thanks to 6 Army Air Corps for hosting us.
