We're delighted to see the European hedgehog selected to feature on the Bank of England's next generation of banknotes.🦔💷
It's a result that's particularly meaningful for us, as NTU researchers are involved in a range of projects dedicated to understanding and protecting hedgehogs across the UK.
We're also incredibly proud that Professor Dawn Scott, Executive Dean of the School of Animal, Rural and Environmental Sciences, contributed her expertise as part of the wildlife expert panel that helped develop the shortlist.
Congratulations and thank you, Dawn, for helping champion UK wildlife on a national stage. 🌍👏
