Call for Volunteers!

Can you help the museums team with an event?

"For our current exhibition on Medieval St Andrews, we are running monthly sessions on Saturday's called 'I want to be a... '. These run for a couple of hours, from 1pm to 3pm, with an academic coming from a department to talk about a career path, followed by participants having a chance to take part in a related activity.

The main aim of these events is for widening participation and admissions to St Andrews and give participants the opportunity to see what careers they could go into after studying different subjects at university. We are looking for a fun, hands-on activity connected to the specific career and theme, with an opportunity for participants to chat about studying at St Andrews as well.

Our next session is Saturday 28th May and called 'I want to be a Super Sleuth', looking at palaeography and how historians can decipher and read historical texts.

Please let us know if there would be anyone interested in helping and if anyone has any further queries at all or would like to chat more about the event."

With kind regards
