🚨 It's been a busy few weeks for our Uniformed Protective Services students at Marple Sixth Form College!

From raft-building at Roman Lakes and a 10km expedition through the Goyt Valley to exploring careers with Greater Manchester Police, our students have been building skills and gaining valuable experiences beyond the classroom.

They've also been giving back to their local community, volunteering at Brabyn's Park to help improve the environment for everyone. 🌳

👏 Brilliant teamwork, community spirit and plenty more exciting opportunities to come!

A big thank you to entrepreneur Max Opara for recently spending the afternoon with our Year 12 Business A Level students at Marple College.

Max, founder of fashion brand Max Chidera, shared the realities of his entrepreneurial journey – from securing finance and overcoming challenges to the rewards of building a business and the importance of looking after yourself along the way.

There were plenty of questions from our students, and what was planned as a guest talk turned into almost two hours of conversation.

We’re really grateful to Max for giving his time so generously and sharing his experiences with our future businesspeople and entrepreneurs.
