🌞 Hot Weather Update

It's business as usual on campus, but with temperatures set to remain high this week, we have plans in place to help keep students and colleagues safe and comfortable while continuing to support learning.

If attending campus, students are encouraged to:
💧 Bring a refillable water bottle
☀️ Stay hydrated throughout the day
🧢 Wear suitable clothing for the weather
🚌 Plan ahead for travel and allow extra time for journeys where needed
🌳 Make use of cooler or shaded areas where possible

👟 One team. Five campuses. One incredible challenge.

This month, colleagues from across Trafford & Stockport College Group are coming together to take on a charity walk across all five of our campuses, raising money for Papyrus.

Organised by our CFO, Henry, the challenge will see colleagues walking between campuses, demonstrating the teamwork, community spirit and determination that makes TSCG such a special place to work and learn.

Every mile walked and every donation made will help support an important cause, and we're proud to see so many colleagues getting involved.

🎨 Creativity, entrepreneurship and community impact in action!

As part of their Personal Progression unit, our Level 3 BTEC Art and Design students at Marple Sixth Form College designed, produced and sold their own artwork at the recent Make it Marple Market.

From prints and paintings to ceramics and upcycled art, the students showcased an impressive range of creative work while gaining valuable real-world experience promoting and selling their products to the public.

The event also gave them the opportunity to gather feedback from customers, connect with new audiences and develop their confidence as emerging artists and creators.

We're incredibly proud of the group, who raised £140 through their sales and have chosen to donate their profits to the RSPCA. 👏

A special mention to Year 13 Level 3 BTEC Art and Design student Imogen Hadfield, who designed the fantastic event poster.

Update - Marple Campus Reopened 19.05.26

We're pleased to confirm that the earlier issue at our Marple Campus has now been resolved.

• Running water has been restored.

• The campus will be open Wed 20 May and operating as normal.

•Please do not drink any mains water from the dispensers or taps, bottled water is available.

Students can attend college as usual, exams and all lessons and activities will continue as planned.

College buses will be running as usual.

Thank you for your patience and understanding while we worked to fix the issue.
