🌟Meet our Celebration of Achievement award winners! Introducing Million, the ESOL student of the year!🌟

Milli joined the ESOL 16-18 course in 2023 with very limited English, progressing all the way through the levels, she hopes to achieve her dream one day of becoming an Accountant.

Milli's tutors said: "From the beginning, Milli showed real determination and enthusiasm for learning, her progress throughout the levels was so impressive, always paying close attention to instructions and always asking for additional opportunities to improve. This course is suitable for level 3 qualified beauty therapy practitioners who are looking to boost their skills and offer more treatments to clients.

Course content includes: health and safety, client care and communication, and laser and light treatments for hair removal and skin rejuvenation.

It is always incredible to see the growth in confidence and life skills of our young adults with an Education Health Care Plan or Special Educational Needs (SEN) Support Plan, completing supported internships alongside the college.

At Stockton Riverside College we work with Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council, DFN Project SEARCH and a range of employers to deliver these personal development programmes.

Combining a work placement with classroom-based learning, the aim is to create opportunities for our supported interns to build the skills to move into employment, achieve personal goals or gain a greater level of independence.

This year we are excited to have a brand-new supported internship offer being launched with Asda Stockton.
