The results of our study confirm that there is an inequity of representation of the allied health professions within senior AHP leadership. It was found that physiotherapists (who account for 25% of registered AHPs) occupy 46% of the Chief AHP roles.

In short, there is:

Inequity in AHP representation,
title disparity for chief AHPs &
absence of AHPs in Trust/HBs executive. 🏥

We need change for impactful, inclusive AHP leadership to improve health systems.
