We’ve delivered weekend, 9-day and 6-week plaster boarding and skimming courses so far this year — with consistently strong feedback from every group.
All learners have enjoyed the course and said they would recommend it, with many already progressing into completing paid plaster boarding and skimming work.
Our training is built around full practical days, large individual bays and maximum time on the tools — with a strong focus on getting a decent finish.
If you’re comparing plastering courses, it’s worth looking at how much plaster you actually apply and the size types of areas you actually complete during the training.
One of our recent learners, Hannah Spencer, completed our 6-week plastering course and the video below contains photos she took highlighting the size of our bays and different areas plastered during our courses.

Setting out and planning
Cutting tiles accurately
Wall and floor tiling
Achieving a clean, professional finish

All training is delivered in a practical environment, with full days spent on the tools to help you build confidence and develop a solid standard.

The aim is simple — to give you the skills and understanding needed to carry out tiling projects.

🔧 𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗡 𝗦𝗞𝗜𝗟𝗟𝗦 𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗔𝗖𝗧𝗨𝗔𝗟𝗟𝗬 𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗡 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗠𝗢𝗡𝗘𝗬 🔧

One thing is clear across the trades – the more 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹, 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹-𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 you have, the more work you can take on and the more you can earn.

That’s why our short, intensive courses focus on **𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗷𝗼𝗯𝘀**, not just ticking boxes.

Some training centres deliver courses over similar or longer timeframes where learners may install *one* bathroom over two weeks.

👉 During our course, you will **𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗧𝗪𝗢 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲 𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺 𝘀𝘂𝗶𝘁𝗲𝘀**, using different systems, and carry out **𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗿 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸** – giving you far wider experience and confidence.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
🛠️ 𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗬𝗢𝗨’𝗟𝗟 𝗗𝗢 𝗢𝗡 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗖𝗢𝗨𝗥𝗦𝗘
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

• Install **two full bathroom suites**, including bath, basin and toilet
• Work with **copper pipe** using soldered end-feed fittings
• Install a second bathroom suite using **Speedfit pipe and fittings**
• Safely remove a bathroom suite
• Apply **silicone sealant professionally**
• Install showers and select the **correct shower for each system**
Remove and replace radiators on a live system
Hang and pipe a radiator, seal parallel and tapered threads, connect union radiator tails and install TRVs
Connect a radiator to a seal heating system and add a radiator to the system.
• Know how to drain, refill and **balance heating systems**
• Carry out ** repair and replacement work to taps, toilets and pipework**, including taps, valves, flushing mechanisms
• Identify **hot and cold water systems** and heating layouts
• Measure **water pressure and flow rates** and understand how they affect installations
• Plan jobs, **price work**, deal with customers and resolve on-site issues

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
🎓 𝗪𝗛𝗬 𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗦 𝗠𝗔𝗧𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗦
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

These are the jobs tradespeople are asked to do every day – and get paid for.

One of the biggest benefits of training with us is that you’re taught by **𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲-𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰 𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝟮𝟬+ 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀’ 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲**, who will discuss your own projects during the course and continue to support you afterwards.

💬 You’ll also receive **𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁-𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁** – contact your tutor by phone, email or WhatsApp, or arrange a visit back to the training centre.

While many of our learners use ELC funding, **𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲** who wants practical, real-world trade skills.

🔨 𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗡 𝗖𝗔𝗥𝗣𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗥𝗬 𝗦𝗞𝗜𝗟𝗟𝗦 𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗔𝗖𝗧𝗨𝗔𝗟𝗟𝗬 𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗡 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗠𝗢𝗡𝗘𝗬 🔨

One thing becomes clear when you look at how tradespeople increase their earnings:
👉 the more *practical, real-world skills* you have, the more work you can take on.

That’s why our short, intensive courses focus on the jobs you’ll ACTUALLY be paid to do — not just workshop exercises that rarely translate into real work.

🛠️ 𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗬𝗢𝗨’𝗟𝗟 𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗡 𝗢𝗡 𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗖𝗢𝗨𝗥𝗦𝗘:

✅ Build a stud walls including one with a door opening
✅ Install a new door casing
✅ Hang a new 6-panel internal door to your door casing, including fitting handles & latches
✅ Hang a door into a door casing that is bowed
✅ Plane doors accurately to size
✅ Repair damaged timber
✅ Fit a 3-lever mortice lock
✅ Install skirting boards & architrave
✅ Lay laminate flooring
✅ Build frames to box in pipework
✅ Construct a cabinet to hide a meter box, this skill can be scaled up to larger jobs like building cabinets to fit alcoves, cabinets for media walls, wardrobe doors, etc.

🎯 Our goal is simple:
To give you the skills, confidence, and experience to take on real work — whether that’s employment, self-employment, or working on your own property.

𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 — not just the classroom.

All training is delivered by trade-specific tutors with 20+ years’ experience, who discuss real projects during the course and provide ongoing support after training.
