🎉Dr Ivan McGlen and Dr Clare Corness- Parr hosted our 5th International Nurses' Day conference on Tuesday and Wednesday this week. We had approx. 300 delegates from across the world attend on each day and some of our Post Graduate students on the ACP programme presented also. Dr Fiona Hibberts Deputy Chief Nurse (Operations) from University Hospitals of North Midlands was our keynote speaker 🎉

What a great Applicant Visit Day we had on Saturday in SNaM, meeting future student nurses! Our fantastic team of staff and current students were present to answer questions, demonstrate skills and show off the amazing facilities and campus we have at Keele! A fantastic day with our Part 2 BSc & MSc Nursing students, discussing challenges faced in practice. This included looking at how to challenge, raise concerns and ensure all service users recieve the best care possible. Linking throughout to the NMC Code, some great discussions were undertaken that will enhance learning and practice.
