Hi guys!

For Diwali this year, there is going to be a huge event in Sunderland at the Winter Gardens on the 20th of November!

It's a great opportunity for anyone who wishes to be a part of the event to participate, and to celebrate Diwali at the same time. If anyone has any ideas such as performances, or has something they want to do, please let us know!

The university is also looking for around 30 volunteers to help host the event, so if this is something you are interested in, we would really appreciate it!

It is going to be a great chance for everyone to meet up, have a good time, and most importantly celebrate Diwali! Hope to see you there!

It seems as if quite a few people won't be able to make it to the event tomorrow evening, so we've decided to postpone it a bit.

The Treasure Hunt is only two days away and we can't wait to see you all!

Please like this post if you're going to be participating as we'd like to get an approximate number to be able to plan teams and prizes.

Feel free to bring friends even if they're not members, just comment the number of people you'll be bringing along!

Remember to dress according to the weather and bring along your society card, and drinks for later if you'd like!

Hello Everyone!

Indian Society is back with another event!

On Saturday, November 22nd, at 3 pm, join us for a Treasure Hunt on City Campus! There will be prizes to be won for the winning team, and it will be lots of fun for all of us!

Bundle up, bring good humour and team spirit!

Participation is free for the Members of Indian Society, upon producing ID. Non-members pay £1.00 fee.

The event is followed by drinks at Clanny House. For those wishing to come, please bring your own drinks! Hope to see you all there!

Hello Everyone!

There have been a couple of updates to our meet and greet event. Firstly, it has been rescheduled to Tuesday, November 11th, 2014, at 5:45 pm. Secondly, we can confirm that it will be held in Gateway Room 6.

So once again, the coming Tuesday, at 5:45 pm in Gateway Room 6.

Hello everybody!

It has been brought to our attention that many of you will be attending the International Students' Event organized by the University, on Thursday, November 6th, 2014. Because of this, we have decided to postpone our meet and greet session to next week, Tuesday, November 11th!
