Can’t decide between fashion design and fashion promotion and marketing? This course gives you skills and crucial understanding in both areas; laying a foundation that is praised by industry experts. In fashion design you’ll develop concepts, explore materials, design fabrics through to full fashion collections, and understand the manufacturing processes. Gain all the skills needed to construct ga

rments; pattern making, cutting, sewing, fabric printing, and craftsmanship; while discovering new technologies. The fashion promotion and marketing pathway will make you consider the whole fashion market, analyse future trends, develop brands, learn the marketing mix, understand visual merchandising, create promotional materials, and plan and manage events, including fashion shows. You’ll learn graphic design, styling and photography and will have access to our fashion journalism expertise. Throughout the course you’ll be nurtured, supported and developed by our expert team. They are on hand to guide you and help choose your preferred pathway. They have many years’ experience working and teaching in fashion, specialising in sustainability, garment construction, design, promotion and marketing.

Absolutely thrilled to announce that all 8 of my 2nd years who submitted their artwork into the have been chosen for the long list.

This is the first time we’ve had students enter these awards but they’ve been doing such wonderful work for their illustration module with me that it was a no brainer to get their work submitted!

Congratulations Akhayar, Eva, Lucy, Rowan, Kumush, Leyla, Maddi & Muxlisa!! 🥳🤩

Now we just need to keep everything crossed for the short list announced next Friday!

Congratulations to our lovely 2nd years who raised an amazing £150 on their first bake sale!!! The effort they made was fantastic and included some lovely Uzbekistani sweet treats from our Tashkent girls!
All funds raised will go towards their graduate show!!
This wasn’t just for fun too.. it is part of their event planning and production module where they get to learn how to work as a team and have a clear understanding of branding and marketing!! This gives them so many more transferable skills & makes them even more employable in the world of fashion! 🤩
