Huge congratulations to Sendai Kushiro Karate members Rebecca Adie, Grace Snowdon, Ava Coulthard, Rojin Rafie, Megan Fox, and Azhin Rafie on their incredible achievement of being selected to represent KUGB England at the ESKA European Shotokan Karate-Do Association Championships this November!

Over the past week or so we have had some wonderful achievements that we are delighted to share with you today (in several posts).

First up Grace Snowdon. Grace recently completed her KUGB (Karate Union of Great Britain) Instructors Qualification.

Grace has been assisting in classes for the last few years, starting as a Young Leader and progressing through the system and now a fully qualified Instructor.

We are delighted to have her join our team of instructors at Sendai Kushiro Karate.

We were delighted to see some excellent performances from Sendai Kushiro members over the weekend. Starting yesterday at the KUGB Shotokan Cup, where our selected team represented the club in exemplary fashion. Followed by a Kyu grading today with Sensei Hartford, 8th Dan.

Many congratulations to all of our members who demonstrated an excellent attitude, high performance and demonstrated a wonderful camaraderie during the busy weekend.

On Saturday a team of 18 Sendai Kushiro members attended the Liverpool Youth Championships. All of our members competed very well, demonstrating an excellent attitude and a high level of performance, against Karateka from across the UK and Ireland.
