Thank you to all of the midwives who have taught us and supported us to get where we are now. We are also supported by an incredible team of midwifery lecturers at the university. What a privilege to be part of this profession.

🌍🧠 Today is World Mental Health Day ✨

As midwifery students we spend so much time caring for others that we often forget to care for ourselves.
On World Mental Health day & everyday we should be prioritising our mental health.

💜 Talking is good for your mental health & talking about your mental health can also be a great help.
💜Share your tips & advise on our Instagram story of how you cope with stress or protect your mental health.
💜 The university offers support & a safe space if you have any worries or concerns.
💜Speak to us to voice a concern & we can help support & signpost you in confidence.
💜Mental health is a universal human right - this is the theme this year for world mental health & don’t you forget it!

✨ exciting trip! ✨

Please e-mail Laura on [email protected] if you’re interested in joining us for a fun day out in London! We will be leaving Singleton Campus @ 0600 on 2nd August and heading straight to the infamous
After that we’ll grab some lunch at the delicious (which has hundreds of options!), and then go to the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology Museum. After exploring the London Bridge area we’ll then hop on the coach back to Swansea for 10pm.

All for £25 per person! Bargain! Again, please email Laura if you’re interested…it’ll count for theory hours!!!
