Technocamps is a STEM outreach programme with hubs in every Welsh University. Our mission is to provide activities to identify and address shortcomings in computing education and skills for pupils, teachers, and professionals. We cover all aspects of engagement, curriculum reform, policy and practice, teacher training and professional development.

🌟 HAPPY INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY 🌟

We’re thrilled to work with so many wonderful individuals and organisations who aim to redress the gender balance in STEM and beyond. 💜

On Friday, we hosted our annual IWD gala dinner, continuing a tradition started by our Patron Beti Williams in 2000. Our event featured women in the STEM and Education sectors who shared their journeys and aspirations, inspiring and paving the way for future generations.

A big thank you to our wonderful compère, Elin Rhys, and to Sioned Williams for opening the event, to our amazing speakers, Anna Webb, Professor Jo Davies, and Lauren Powell, and to everyone who attended.

It was such a fantastic evening full of inspiration and celebration.

Rydym wrth ein bodd yn gweithio gyda chynifer o unigolion a sefydliadau gwych sy'n anelu at unioni'r cydbwysedd rhywedd mewn STEM a thu hwnt. 💜

Ar Ddydd Gwener, cynhaliwyd ein cinio gala blynyddol ar gyfer Diwrnod Rhyngwladol y Menywod, gan barhau â thraddodiad a ddechreuwyd gan ein Noddwr Beti Williams yn 2000. Roedd ein digwyddiad yn cynnwys menywod yn y sectorau STEM ac Addysg a rannodd eu teithiau a'u dyheadau, gan ysbrydoli a pharatoi'r ffordd ar gyfer cenedlaethau'r dyfodol.
