Gower College Swansea - A Level Music Dept. The staff, too, are usually very accommodating (except on Tuesday mornings or during Lent) - but fans of Andrew Lloyd-Webber will simply not be tolerated.

One of the largest and most successful A-Level Music centres in the UK is currently housed in the magnificent, spacious and airy 'basement' section of the Gower College Arts Block. Over a two year period, students are exposed to a wide ranging curriculum; encompassing the areas of aural perception, composition, performance and set-work study. The 'music room', or A5, as it's sometimes known (coinc

identally, this is the actual name of the room) is a warm and friendly environment (honestly), where like-minded 'musos' (or Music Geeks, if you wish to be slightly offensive) can meet, work or just loiter with intent.

Yesterday in collaboration with Seren Cymru, students from Gower College Swansea and Olchfa School took part in a fantastic vocal masterclass with renowned operatic soprano, Natalya Romaniw- soprano. Four young, talented singers were put through their paces by Natalya and those in attendance benefited from her fantastic insight and direction. We look forward to repeating this project next year! Well done to all involved 🎢
