A huge shout out to the amazing Vocational Business students from Richard Huish College for organising and hosting the fantastic 'Play It Forward' sports event at the college in support of Love Musgrove. 💚

Thanks to their hard work, teamwork and dedication, they raised an incredible £442.31 for Love Musgrove - an absolutely outstanding achievement! 👏

Your energy, commitment and community spirit truly made a difference, and everyone involved should be incredibly proud. Thank you for helping us continue supporting patients, families and staff at Musgrove. 💫

💜 MEET ULTRAVIOLET!
Our final band announcement for TEST FEST 2026 — and what a way to finish!

Ultraviolet, a pop‑rock band from Richard Huish College, are stepping onto the Sheppy's Cider Ltd Stage for their first ever festival performance.

Covering The Killers, Paramore, Olivia Rodrigo and Måneskin, they bring huge energy, big hooks and serious talent.

This is exactly what Test Fest is about — giving grassroots bands a platform to grow, perform, and build confidence while doing what they love.

🤔 Why Test Fest?
“Grassroots platforms are so important for bands like us. Test Fest gives us the chance to develop our performance skills and progress as a band. And raising awareness for testicular cancer is truly inspiring — it’s such an important cause, and an even better reason to buy a ticket to this show‑stopping event.”

🌞🍔 Oak House hosted its annual BBQ last Friday to celebrate the time our boarders have spent at Richard Huish College.

Students enjoyed a delicious selection of burgers, hot dogs and salads, while Blackdown Photo Booths provided a fun opportunity to capture memories with a variety of props.

To top it all off, everyone was treated to a visit from the ice cream van – a perfect sweet touch to the day.

With warm sunshine and a great atmosphere, it was a fantastic way to kick off the bank holiday weekend and half-term break.
