Good Luck to Our 3 Peaks Challenge Team
As our 3 Peaks Challenge team heads off, we’d like to give a huge shout-out to JCT600 Vehicle Leasing Solutions Ltd for kindly loaning us the minibus, and to Keith Rimmer for stepping in at short notice to take on the role of main driver.
The team are raising funds for two very worthy causes: Help for Heroes and Prostate Cancer UK. We’re looking forward to following their journey over the next few days. Good luck to everyone taking part, stay safe, keep those legs moving and enjoy the challenge! On Friday, Ray Cook, Daniel White, Olivia Rye, Isabel Walpole, and Mihai joined Equans for a volunteer day at Western Heights, Dover. Our team helped with graffiti removal and disinfecting along the pathways and inside one of the forts old, disused buildings, which had been opened up especially for this community project. Antac has proudly supported Russell Whitfield, and the Equans teams with previous community events at Western Heights over the last few years, it really does make a difference. Well done to all the team.

Jaydon stepped up to support the out-of-hours team, attending a call-out to ensure a prompt response and help minimise damage to site. Daniel has been a valued member of the Worthy Down team, consistently managing a busy workload while maintaining a high level of professionalism and delivering great service to the client. He is always willing to go the extra mile, supporting colleagues whenever an extra pair of hands is needed. Well done to both Jaydon and Daniel, fantastic examples of teamwork.

Investing in training today helps keep our teams safe tomorrow.
Members of our Health & Safety Team have qualified as First Aid Instructors and have been delivering Emergency First Aid at Work training. A recent course took place at our Aylesford office, where members of our Rope Access team successfully completed the course.
Well done to everyone involved. These essential life-saving skills can make a real difference, both in the workplace and in everyday life.

We're delighted to congratulate Harvey Roberts, a valued member of our MOD Housing Projects Team based at Sling Yard, on successfully completing the Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) course.



The SMSTS qualification is one of the construction industry's leading management safety courses, providing managers with a comprehensive understanding of their legal responsibilities, effective risk management, safe systems of work, and the leadership required to maintain high standards of health, safety and environmental performance on site.

Yesterday we celebrated Gill Osment's retirement with a special party to thank her for an incredible 20 years with Antac. It was wonderful to see so many team members come together to wish Gill a happy retirement and thank her for the dedication, commitment and support she has given the business over the past two decades. During the celebration, Louise Burton shared heartfelt words of thanks on behalf of everyone at Antac, and especially Stephen Burton, recognising Gill's enormous contribution as the company has grown and evolved over the years.

Antac was recently appointed to carry out roof cleaning on a large building, which was undertaken by our Rope Access Team. Keeping roofs free from moss is essential to ensure rainwater drains away effectively and to protect the integrity of the roof. Moss thrives in damp, shaded areas and acts like a sponge, trapping moisture against roof tiles.
If left untreated, moss can lead to cracked tiles, frost damage, rotting roof timbers and blocked gutters, often resulting in costly repairs. Regular roof inspections and cleaning form an important part of any building maintenance strategy, helping to extend the life of the roof, reduce reactive maintenance costs and keep buildings safe, watertight and in good condition.
