We’re delighted to welcome Fahira Brodlija as a speaker at the 2026 Brunel Summer Programme on International Arbitration!
Fahira is an Advisor on investment law and dispute resolution with a regional GIZ programme in the Western Balkans, where she advises governments on investment treaty and policy design, dispute prevention and management, and capacity development.
Alongside her advisory work, Fahira lectures at the International University of Sarajevo and teaches internationally, including as a tutor for the CIArb Diploma Programme and lecturer at the Africa Arbitration Academy. She has also been a guest lecturer at universities across Europe, the US, Africa and Asia.
A prolific scholar and speaker on investment law, ISDS reform and international dispute resolution, Fahira has authored more than 50 articles and co-edited three books on international commercial and investment arbitration. She is also the founder of the GEM diversity and mentorship programme, supporting young academics and practitioners in international arbitration.
