We are so excited to announce our very first 3 day Create Week! This national celebration is all about how creativity boosts wellbeing, connection, and self-expression through hands-on, project based learning.

Here is a sneak peek at what each year group will be diving into:

Year 7: 🔥 Dragon’s Den Challenge (English & IT) – Who will pitch the next big idea?

Year 8: 🏆 Inclusive Commonwealth Games (PE & Creative Arts) – Bringing community and movement together.

Year 9: 🚀 Space-Themed STEM Projects (Maths & Science) – Out-of-this-world learning!

Year 10: 🍫 The Dark & Delicious History of Food (MFL, DT & Humanities) – A deep dive into culture and cuisine.

Our World Cup themed attendance competition continues next week.
With 8SDO, 10JST, 7VVA, 10LPO and 7TBR topping each of the groups, it is all to play for.

Next week, the focus will be -

• +5 points → Attendance higher than Week 1
• +3 points → No unauthorised absences in tutor group
• +2 points → Most improved form group

From coding on a Nintendo Switch 🎮 to dissecting lamb hearts 🫀, our students had an unforgettable, hands-on day of science!

Highlights included testing reaction times with "drunk goggles" 🕶️, making the loudest bangers possible 💥, and wrapping up with to test out real clinical medical equipment 🩺. Future doctors and engineers in the making! 🚀

Blue Light Careers Supper on Wednesday the 22nd of July at the St Andrews Church Rooms, 27 Crown Street, Kettering NN16. 5.00-6.30pm.

It’s a drop in and students and parents are welcome. We will be available to chat about a range of careers in Policing including our detective entry pathway and our degree apprenticeship.

We can also discuss roles in Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue Service.
