🌱🌍 Urban Gardens Creating Opportunities in Chawama 🌍🌱

In the Chawama community, the Urban Gardens project is helping women’s and children’s groups learn how to plant, grow, and care for their own gardens. 🥬

Using even the smallest pieces of land, families can grow food for themselves and also sell what they produce to create an income. 💚

A simple idea with a real impact — turning small spaces into opportunities for food, learning, and community support.

After months of preparation, teamwork, studies, and practical activities, this is an important step before starting the next chapter of their journey. 🌱

🌍❤️ World Malaria Day 2026 – Communities at the Centre of Ending Malaria ❤️🌍

Malaria still affects millions of people every year, especially children and vulnerable communities. But real progress happens when communities are informed, involved, and empowered.

Through programmes by Humana People to People, millions of people are reached with:
🦟 Malaria prevention awareness
🩺 Early testing and treatment
🏡 Community health education and mosquito net distribution

In 2025 alone, Humana People to People reached more than 8 million people with malaria services and support.

Ending malaria is possible — and it starts with communities working together. 💚

Our 7-month Climate Activist team headed to London for an investigation — taking their learning beyond the classroom and into real life.

They spent time spreading awareness about ways to fight climate change, engaging with people and sharing ideas for a more sustainable future. 🌱

They also attended the premiere of Earth’s Greatest Enemy by Abby Martin — a powerful moment to reflect, learn, and get inspired. 🎬
