Staff and Students at Adult Education Wolverhampton were delighted to welcome visitors to our SEND Open Event!
Visitors explored our Life Skills learning and Supported Internships programmes, visited Employability, English and Digital Skills classes and took part in activities, quizzes and Q&A sessions.
One of the highlights of the day was showcasing our fantastic new accessible kitchen for Life Skills Cookery classes, where Students impressed guests by preparing delicious quiches!
We were also pleased to welcome Emma, Jamahl and Leia from the City of Wolverhampton Council Supported Employment Team, who provided valuable information, advice and guidance on progression routes into Supported Internship and Employment programmes.
A huge thank you to all our Students, staff and visitors for helping make the event such a success!
Do you, or someone you know, have a learning difficulty, disability and/or autism? Would you like to build confidence, independence and life and work skills in a supportive environment?
It’s not too late to meet the team and find out more at one of our upcoming Open Days.
