We're looking forward to celebrating our lovely new kitchen at our official Kitchen Dedication with the Vice Chancellor. 🏡

There will be short reflections on food and hospitality in different faiths and worldviews, and the history and future of hospitality at the Chaplaincy. Vegetarian food will be served.

Staff, students and friends of the Chaplaincy are welcome!

Eid Ul Adha is coming up, and we have two events to celebrate!

🌍 Eid Global Lunch at the Chaplaincy (MP): We're excited to be collaborating with the Pakistan Society for this special Global Lunch. Join us for a free vegetarian meal (veg biryani and something sweet!) made by our amazing student and staff cooks. It's a chance to try new food, meet new people and celebrate together.

🎉 Eid celebrations in the Students' Union, City Campus: Come along to the SU for some delicious free food and get creative with some fun crafts celebrating Eid. Hosted by chaplain Imam Mohammad and our lovely chaplaincy staff and students.

Amrit is about to launch a shiny new account which will be the one we synch to Facebook, details to come ASAP. Meanwhile Sarah is heading off on holiday. Calling all staff. Starting tomorrow, there will be a series of drop ins for staff looking for a bit of self care. If you start your day on the north side of campus why not drop in for fruit, pastries, and a chat between 8am and 8.45am. Maria and Chaplain Sarah will be delighted to see you. Sorry students, this one's not for you... We're looking after staff to help them look after you. (leftover pastries available to all comers later in the day)

A quick reminder that Monday is a public holiday in England so the University of Wolverhampton is closed. Chaplaincy staff hope everyone has time for themselves and finds something nice to do. We'll be back with Giani Shyam's music class at 11am and@peterchandstoryteller at 1.15pm on Tuesday. Places still available for current students and recent alumni. Email [email protected] and look out for a confirmation on Tuesday morning. Global Lunch on Wednesday.
