A West Midlands Ambulance Service employee preparing to complete his Paramedic Science apprenticeship degree at the University will celebrate a special family milestone this autumn when his daughter begins her own studies at the University.

For a period, father and daughter will share the experience of being University of Wolverhampton students at the same time, creating a unique family connection as one journey nears its conclusion and another begins.

We are delighted to share that following an inspection in June 2026, the University of Wolverhampton has been judged by Ofsted as 'Strong' in every area of its apprenticeship provision.

Professor Ebrahim Adia, DL, BA (Hons), PhD, Vice Chancellor, said: "Apprenticeships play a vital role in developing the skilled workforce our region and our country need. This outcome gives us confidence that we are delivering high-quality provision that transforms lives, creates opportunity and makes a positive impact in our communities."
