Isabel Wilkerson is an American journalist and the author of The Warmth of Other Suns: The Epic Story of America's Great Migration and Caste: The Origins of Our Discontents. She was the first woman of African-American heritage to win the Pulitzer Prize in journalism.

‼️MEMBERSHIPS‼️

Our interest list expires on the 24th October, so you MUST have a membership to take part in activities from then onwards.

£6 for the year or £4 for the Semester - available from our page on the SU website, or from the Welcome Desk.

We are holding a session next Wednesday (21st) at 11am, but unsure whether this will be in person or on discord. Updates will follow.

Unfortunately, we are going to have to cancel our session for tomorrow, but I am currently working to get us booked into a classroom for a in person session next week!

Moira Stuart is a British Presenter and Broadcaster for the BBC, and was the first African-Caribbean female newsreader to appear on British Television. She has worked with the BBC since 1981, and has been given an OBE.

We are asking all societies, sports clubs and staff to send us pictures or videos sporting your best pink attire for us to edit together for Breast Cancer Awareness Month! This is also to support UniB**b's Pink Week!

Deadline for these is the 25th October so rummage through your wardrobe and find your best pink bits!
