Our International Recruitment Team is looking for an enthusiastic graduate from the University of Worcester in any subject within the last 3 years to join the team as an International Office Intern! 🎓

The International Intern will play a vital role in the University’s interaction with a range of student audiences in an increasingly competitive market. The role will not only enhance the Institution’s existing agent, partner, and school liaison activity but will also support inbound activity at both school and applicant level as well as providing assistance, encouragement, and information to applicants throughout the recruitment cycle.

The role primarily involves using email, social media, telephone, campaigns, webinars, and on occasion attending HE Fairs in the UK and possibly overseas.

'Studying in has been my dream for many years and so has becoming a primary school . However, I soon realised that studying on a course where students are very rare is full of challenges, especially during this unusual year. Still, even though my understanding of the educational system in England was very limited, I tried to compensate for any lack of previous knowledge by determination and enthusiasm. I was eager to learn and with a bit of extra work, I managed to gradually catch up with my British classmates. The help and support I received from the tutors also made the biggest difference and proved to me that I simply could not have chosen a better university. Moreover, I have recently completed my first ever school placement and although it was the busiest three weeks of my life, I had the best time ever and seeing theory in practice during the placement showed me that this is 100% what I can see myself doing in the future. ‘This was undoubtedly one of the best decisions I have made. Leaving for a yearlong during the pandemic had its doubts and uncertainties at the beginning. However, having the opportunity to work for such a prestigious organization in Europe and to live in Valencia is incredible. The people I met and the friendships I have made during my placement and how that affected my for the better, will truly be unforgettable. I do not know how different it would have been without Covid-19, but that is the reality we live in, so we have to adapt and make the most of what we have.’ - Andrius 🇱🇹
