Hello Everyone!

We have a new, free UW student football league starting next Wednesday on the St Johns Campus 3G. All you need to do is to create a Playwaze account and join the Worcester IMS Football Community. Just follow the link below:

Great addition to our facilities up on the lakeside campus soon!

Planners have given us the go ahead for a new aerial tower here at the campus.

The 10-metre-high tower, which will incorporate a 100m zip wire, climbing wall and abseil wall and a ‘leap of faith’, will build on the University’s outdoor adventure offering and will be for use by students as well as guests to the campus. It is hoped the new facility will be up and operational in May.

Wow, what a summer! In addition to filling over 1100 spaces for our holiday club we have had all these schools and groups come and enjoy our facilities. Thank you all! Droitwich Spa Model Boat Club, Stourport High School, Warwick School, Worcester Virtual Schools, SPAAS, Pulse Pursuits, St John Ambulance Cadets, UW Careers Team, UW Estates Team, UW Grounds Team, Valencia Basketball Camp, 1st Halesowen Scouts, various CCF units and many more.

We have some exciting news of a brand news rec sport programme across our facilities starting on Tuesday 3rd May. For the next 12 weeks, we will be offering Football on the 3G on Tuesdays 16:30-18:00, Basketball in the sports hall on Wednesdays at 16:30-18:00 and Badminton in the sports hall on Thursdays 17:30-19:00. This sessions are free with a University of Worcester staff gym and sport membership and will be £5 per session to members of staff that do not have a gym and sport membership.
