University of Worcester graduate Lee Gough was awarded an Honorary University Fellowship in recognition of her outstanding contribution to charity and community life. 🎓

Lee has spent nearly two decades helping children and adults improve their independence, confidence and quality of life through conductive education.

After graduating from Worcester in 2000 with a BA (Hons) in English and Sociology Lee moved into fundraising, first helping deliver major restoration work at Worcester Cathedral before joining Megan Baker House and becoming Development Director.

Starting at 10am on Thursday 15 October, Student Welfare Officer Ian Alley, an experienced player who has even shared a table with snooker legend Jimmy White, will play pool continuously for 50 hours to raise money for the University of Worcester Student Hardship Fund.

“Students, staff, members of the community, anyone can get involved by taking me on at any point during the 50-hour marathon, and all it’ll cost them is a donation to the Student Hardship Fund.”
