Many people have been asking “What is the difference between ‘engraved’ name & acrylic?”

Well… if you want a completely neutral Christmas box, engraved is the option for you. If you like a pop of colour, you have the option between red, white, gold, silver & black acrylic which is laser cut & layered to give a 3D effect!

The Etch Story

Who? I started Etch Twenty Eight as a 22 year old Cumbrian design graduate in June 2017. I'd been working with laser machines for over 7 years throughout my education and more creatively throughout my 4 years as a student at Northumbria University. When I made the decision to move back home i knew there wasn't any jobs in the area that would satisfy my creative mind so i decided to generate my own career. With ambition to enrich people's lives through design; combined with a passion for 'making every memory special' and belief that giving and receiving personal and sentimental handmade gifts is underrated 'nowadays'.. i started Etch Twenty Eight. What? Etch Twenty Eight specialise in laser cut pieces, creating the gifts, party favours and home decors that people admire and talk about. I believe every special occasion should be personal, all products are designed with the aim of capturing memorable celebrations with the hope that they will be treasured for a lifetime. How? I love working with YOU the client to ensure your gifts and other pieces are personal. Not feeling creative? That’s fine, you can choose from an already existing concept or use the famous ‘get out of jail free’ card - “just do what you think looks best!”.
