Today, we had our OMR - a 5-yearly review conducted by UKCP.

It began several weeks ago with inspection of course documents, policies, our curriculum, and a raft of other data, which we passed to senior figures at UKCP.
Today, the Organizational Member Review panel met with Matrix staff, members, and students to ask questions & look more deeply into how we run our course.

The review process ensures that our course upholds the highest standards of training required by the UKCP. Having external scrutiny of our work is vital and we embrace the process!

It's been another superb VIVA FRIDAY at Matrix.

Five of our students took their final in-person assessment today, and all five of them passed 🤩
This is the culmination of lots of hard work, and we are so proud of our five new graduates 🥹

They qualify with the Matrix Advanced Diploma, and will also be awarded the BSc (Hons) in Integrative Counselling from Middlesex University.

Calling colleagues, friends, alumni of Matrix!

We are continuing our 'associate tutor' programme in the New Year.
This is our scheme for qualified counsellors and psychotherapists (UKCP registered or BACP Accredited) who wish to gain experience as tutors, and potentially work with Matrix in the future.
It's an opportunity to learn skills and gain experience in group management, training adult learners, consolidating & teaching counselling theory and supporting students to develop their integrative framework.
By participating in this programme you will gain CPD hours.
