Aaaaaand ... that's a wrap!

Another academic year comes to an end at Matrix. What a year it's been! We've said goodbye to our Year 3 groups (pictured here) - they will now carry on towards their final assessments.
We wish them all well.

It's been another wonderful VIVA FRIDAY here at Matrix.
Another 5 students have met with the external assessor and passed their BSc or diploma! Well done to them all!

MORE VIVA SUCCESSES!

A viva assessment is the culmination of hard work, over several years for our Matrix students. They are asked questions about their approach, their experience, and their client work.

The external assessors are qualified, highly experienced professionals in the field.
This assessment step adds integrity to the whole process, and ensures that our graduates are of the highest quality - and independently assessed.

Congratulations to the viva candidates who passed yesterday - it was another BUMPER viva Friday! 🎉🎉

Last week, Fiona joined the academic congregation at the Middlesex University graduation ceremony.
Our graduates had their well-earned 'cap and gown' moment.

We're so excited to be interviewing applicants for the 2026/27 intake.

Today, we had our OMR - a 5-yearly review conducted by UKCP.

It began several weeks ago with inspection of course documents, policies, our curriculum, and a raft of other data, which we passed to senior figures at UKCP.
Today, the Organizational Member Review panel met with Matrix staff, members, and students to ask questions & look more deeply into how we run our course.

The review process ensures that our course upholds the highest standards of training required by the UKCP. Having external scrutiny of our work is vital and we embrace the process!

It's been another superb VIVA FRIDAY at Matrix.

Five of our students took their final in-person assessment today, and all five of them passed 🤩
This is the culmination of lots of hard work, and we are so proud of our five new graduates 🥹

They qualify with the Matrix Advanced Diploma, and will also be awarded the BSc (Hons) in Integrative Counselling from Middlesex University.
