The University of York's first & finest performance society, now in its 45th year! Being all-inclusive, we perform three shows a year, as well as a number of concerts and participation in UniFEST, a prestigious competition held by the International Gilbert & Sullivan Festival. For our 2017 production of 'The Gondoliers', we performed to a near full house and came away with nominations in the following categories. Best Male Voice – Ben Noble - NOMINATED
Best Female Voice – Amy Pezet - NOMINATED

Save the date(s) for our 48 hour show! We will be in the Bowland Auditorium rehearsing on the 14th and 15th November for The Gondoliers, with the performance in the evening on the 15th. The chorus is open to all, including alumni, so if you’ve ever wanted to come try out a G&S show, this is the perfect chance!

We will also be holding auditions for lead roles on the evening of the 13th - more info to be released soon.

Exec prod applications are open for our 48hour show, The Gondoliers! We are looking for an MD and a director to take on doing the show in the span of one weekend (evening of the 13th, and all day 14th and 15th November). If you’ve ever wanted to give being on an exec prod a go, this is a great opportunity to try it out for a small-scale production.

We are reopening applications for répétiteur! This role involves playing back vocal lines as well as the piano accompaniment if possible during music rehearsals. Rehearsals are held on Thursdays from 6:45-10pm and Saturdays from 10am-4pm.
