A new chapter begins at East-West University!

We are proud to announce that the Accreditation Council has granted accreditation to 8 new academic programmes at East-West University.

Developed in partnership with Arizona State University, these programmes bring internationally recognized academic practices and a US-style approach to education to students in Georgia.

The newly accredited English-taught programmes are:

🎓 Bachelor’s Programmes

International Business
Global Management
Business Information Systems

🎓 Master’s Programmes

Executive Master’s in Leadership and Management
Global Management
Health Care Policy and Management
Business Analytics
Artificial Intelligence in Business

These internationally oriented programmes are designed to offer students Dual Degree pathway opportunities, providing access to globally aligned academic experiences and expanded opportunities for further study and professional development.

The accreditation report highlights that all the programmes are developed with Arizona State University curriculum and aligned with its academic models.

East-West University, in collaboration with the Georgian Aviation University, hosted the training "Academic Freedom: Principles, Challenges, and Practice."

The training brought together academic and administrative staff to explore the principles, challenges, and best practices of academic freedom, reinforcing it as a core institutional value.

On 15 July 2026, East-West University, in collaboration with the Georgian Aviation University, successfully conducted the training “Academic Freedom: Principles, Challenges, and Practice.”

The training brought together academic, invited, and administrative staff to strengthen the understanding of academic freedom as a fundamental institutional value.

Participants explored international standards, the Georgian context, practical challenges, and best practices related to institutional governance, research, and teaching.

East-West University’s Annual Cultural Event brought together students from diverse backgrounds for an unforgettable evening celebrating culture, talent, and community.

The program featured vibrant cultural performances, music, dance, interactive games, and moments that reflected the rich diversity of our student body. The celebration also included the EVPL Season 2 Award Ceremony, honoring our university’s volleyball champions and participants, followed by an energetic DJ Night that ended the evening on a high note.

Hosted at Grand Maharajah Event Hall in Tbilisi, Roots & Rhythm 2026 showcased the unity, creativity, and vibrant spirit that make the East-West University community truly special.

EWU student shares his experience on how advanced simulation technology bridges the gap between medical theory and practice.

The East-West University Task Training Lab gives our medical students access to modern simulators and tools that mirror real-world clinical environments.

Through realistic case studies, targeted skill mastery, and team-based collaboration, our students build the practical confidence required for patient care long before graduation. It’s demanding work, but it’s where true healthcare professionals are formed.

East-West University participated in the 3rd International Scientific Conference, "Sports Medicine for Athletes’ Health and Performance," held in Batumi.

The event brought together Georgian and international experts in sports medicine and sports science. EWU representatives and students actively engaged in scientific sessions and workshops focused on athlete health, injury prevention, rehabilitation, and sports performance.

Among the conference speakers was Professor Jiří Dostal (MD, PhD), Professor at East-West University and Chairman of the Scientific Council of the Czech Olympic Committee, who shared valuable international experience and best practices with participants.
