📣"Remember the Future" Workshop Applications Now Open!
✨We're inviting youth (ages 18-22) from Azerbaijan, Armenia and Georgia to join us in this reflective and exchange adventure (This call is for the participants from Georgia and Azerbaijan).
🎯 Project aims to better understand the past by not only giving voice and listening to the views of the own country but through dialogue to promote future-oriented cultural memory.
📍The Workshop will take place in Lopota, Kakheti, Georgia from 11.09.2023 - 15.09.2023 (10.09.2023 Arrival in Tbilisi, 16.09.2023 Departure from Tbilisi). Travel costs (incl. international), accommodation and meals during the workshop are covered. The project is free of cost for participants.
✨Activities are a workshop in which 28 young persons (ages 18 to 22) from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia and Germany will meet with contemporary witnesses and the project partners in Georgia from September 10th to 16th, 2023. Online meetings in advance and after the workshop will be held to build an international network and sustainable relationships. The workshop and the meetings will be held in English. Translation won’t be provided. Accordingly, the participants shall know at least a B1 level of English.
✨The project, funded by the German Federal Foreign Office, will be organized by the Centre for Civil Society Development at SOCLES International Centre for Socio-Legal Studies (Heidelberg, Germany), Bavarian Youth Council (Munich, Germany) and SIBE-Georgia (Tbilisi, Georgia).
