The Department of Information Technology Studies at UPSA, in collaboration with DoubleOSec Ltd, has organised a practical cybersecurity workshop for about 15 final-year MSc Information Security Management students.

Dubbed ‘Night Shift’, the workshop exposed participants to simulated cyber incidents, including phishing, ransomware, lateral movement and DNS manipulation, allowing them to apply classroom knowledge to real-world scenarios.

Facilitated by Mr Gervin Appiah of DoubleOSec Ltd, the programme forms part of the Department’s efforts to bridge academic learning with industry practice and equip students with practical cybersecurity and incident-response skills.
