The branch in Ghana was established in 2013 at Labone, Accra before relocating to its current premises near the Nima Police Station at the foot of the Nima-Kanda overpass, Accra in 2018
The SIIMT was accredited by the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC)) in 2019 to run the Undergraduate Programmes affiliated with The University of Cape Coast. It was also accredited by the Council for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (CTVET), to run technical and vocational courses. SIIMT has collaborated with Indian Partner Infra Securities for its professional courses

Great outcomes begin with the right people in the room.
A productive discussion with the Cyber Security Authority team on the Cybersecure Ghana International Conference (CGIC) 2026.

We were pleased to be joined by Madam Adelaide Ekua Otoo, Strategic Partnerships Team and International Collaborations Lead, and Mr. Reginald Humphrey Laryea-Borquaye, Project Manager, Strategic Partnerships, and we thank them and the wider CSA team for their time, insight and constructive guidance.

From SIIMT University College, Ghana, the delegation comprised Mr. Chaitanya Sonavane, Director of External Affairs, Mr. Aksh*t Sonavane, Cyber Security Expert, Madam Priscilla Konadu-Yiadom and Madam Albright Abiwu of the Office of External Affairs.

It was an honour to meet Dr. Divine Selase Agbeti, Director-General of the Cyber Security Authority, at the start of our journey towards the Cybersecure Ghana International Conference (CGIC) 2026.

Representing SIIMT University College, Ghana were our Rector, Dr. Raju Sonavane, Mr. Chaitanya Sonavane, Director of External Affairs, and Madam Priscilla Konadu-Yiadom of the Office of External Affairs.
We are grateful to Dr. Agbeti for his warm welcome and for his support of this initiative. Introducing the Cybersecure Ghana International Conference (CGIC 2026).

As Ghana’s digital economy continues to expand, cybersecurity resilience, institutional trust and effective leadership have become increasingly important to sustainable digital transformation.

CGIC 2026 will convene leaders and decision-makers from government, industry, academia and the cybersecurity community for focused dialogue, strategic collaboration and practical engagement around the future of cybersecurity and digital resilience.
