"Creating Meaningful Digital Stories" 💭✨ Our e-Campaigning students explored the art of digital impact storytelling in three sessions led by Dr. Lida Tsene (Communications Strategist, CSR & Impact Measurement Expert, Art Director of Comicdom Con Athens).

📌 As part of the course "Digital Strategic Design Communications" coordinated by Assoc. Prof. Betty Tsakarestou, we discovered how powerful stories are designed through immersive worldbuilding, authentic character development, and data-driven narratives that engage, inspire, and create a lasting impact.

🗣️ We were also delighted to welcome guest speaker Dr. Stavri (Stavroula) Palaiologou, Head of Civil Society Empowerment Programmes at the Bodossaki Foundation. She shared invaluable insights on how storytelling is used in practice to communicate social change and empower civil society through key initiatives such as "Social Dynamo". 👥💡✊

🟣 On May 28, our students got a masterclass in humanitarian diplomacy, as part of the course "Crisis, Conflict Transformation & Digital Mediation." The module focused specifically on the crucial soft skills needed for frontline mediation.

📌 Coordinated by Assoc. Prof. Daniella Maria Marouda, the class welcomed Alexandros Freris Barolo, an expert with extensive field experience. His real-world insights gave our "Digis" a deep, practical understanding of negotiation tactics and humanitarian diplomacy.

📌 Following our latest Joint Seminar on “Cyberdiplomacy Initiatives & Global Governance” at the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs | Η Ελλάδα στον Κόσμο, Ambassador Michael Diamessis highlights the strategic partnership between the MA in Digital Transformation (Πάντειον Πανεπιστήμιο, Πρύτανις - Panteion University, Rector) and the Ελληνική Διπλωματική Ακαδημία - Hellenic Diplomatic Academy.

💡This session (the first held under our official MoU) opens unique opportunities for high-level knowledge exchange between our e-Diplomacy students and future Embassy Attachés.

🗣️ As Ambassador Diamessis notes, this is only the beginning of a fruitful partnership set to open new doors across multiple fields of international relations.

🗓️ On Friday, 27 February, the 𝗠𝗔 𝗶𝗻 𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 and the Ελληνική Διπλωματική Ακαδημία - Hellenic Diplomatic Academy held a joint seminar on “Cyberdiplomacy Initiatives & Global Governance” at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

📌 This session, rooted in our signed MoU, created a unique space for academic–diplomatic dialogue.

🤝 It brought our e-Diplomacy students together with Embassy Attaché Candidates to examine how cyberspace is regulated both within and outside the United Nations.

☑️ Led by Professor Nicholas Tsagourias (School of Law, University of Sheffield), the seminar addressed critical issues regarding state sovereignty and non-intervention in the digital domain, alongside the legal framework for cyber countermeasures.

💬 Discussions focused on the practical application of these principles to contemporary threats, specifically electoral interference and ransomware attacks. To bridge theory and practice, participants divided into groups to apply these legal principles to a range of real-world scenarios.
