Jean Monnet European Centre of Excellence Jean Monnet European Centre of Excellence, University of Athens Its aim has been to promote research, teaching and information on European issues.

The Jean Monnet European Centre of Excellence at the University of Athens was established in September 2000, at the initiative of Professor Yannis Valinakis. More specifically, the Jean Monnet European Centre of Excellence initially focused on teaching and research activities on European Policy and Diplomacy.
