Η ψηφιακή επανάσταση αλλάζει τον τρόπο που ζούμε, επικοινωνούμε και αναπτυσσόμαστε — αλλά τι σημαίνει αυτό για τη νέα γενιά;

Στη διάλεξή του στο Hellenic American College, ο Καθηγητής Γεώργιος Π. Χρούσος, Ιδρυτής και Επιστημονικός Διευθυντής του Μεταπτυχιακού Προγράμματος στη Διαχείριση του Στρες και της Υγείας του Hellenic American University, ανέδειξε τη σύνδεση ανάμεσα στο στρες, τον σύγχρονο τρόπο ζωής, την ταχύτατη τεχνολογική αλλαγή και την ανάπτυξη του ανθρώπινου εγκεφάλου.

Στην εκδήλωση παρέστη ο Πρόεδρος της Ελληνοαμερικανικής Ένωσης και μέλος του Board of Trustees του Hellenic American University, Δρ. Λεωνίδας Τζώνης. Τον Καθηγητή Χρούσο καλωσόρισε η Πρόεδρος του Hellenic American University, Δρ. Θέμις Κανικλίδου.

Ιδιαίτερη έμφαση δόθηκε στις επιπτώσεις της έντονης χρήσης των ψηφιακών μέσων, όπως η μειωμένη διά ζώσης κοινωνικοποίηση, οι διαταραχές του ύπνου, η διάσπαση της προσοχής και τα αυξημένα επίπεδα στρες.

Το βασικό μήνυμα της ομιλίας ήταν σαφές: η τεχνολογία δεν χρειάζεται να δαιμονοποιείται, αλλά να χρησιμοποιείται με μέτρο και ισορροπία. Ο καλός ύπνος, η άθληση, το παιχνίδι, η ανάγνωση, οι ουσιαστικές ανθρώπινες σχέσεις και οι υγιείς ψηφιακές συνήθειες μπορούν να λειτουργήσουν προστατευτικά για τη νέα γενιά.

Zeta Platanou (MAT '26) joined Translate.One as an intern in July 2024 after connecting with the company through our Career Fair. While completing her Master's degree, she began supporting one of the company's most demanding Life Sciences translation accounts within its Greek Project Management team.

Her manager shared:
