🎤 And that’s a wrap on Deree Invi LXXI!
We want to thank all of you for joining us and bringing such positive energy, passion, and enthusiasm throughout the tournament. 🐿️
A special thank you to:
✨ Our CAs: Jim Balatos, Maro Samara, and Alekos Chelmis. Your dedication to creating memorable motions and overseeing every aspect of coordination was truly inspiring.
💻 Our TAB Team: Director Polyxeni Damigou and TAB Assistant Stathis Gkeverlis, who were constantly behind their laptops, ensuring the competition ran smoothly—from registrations to room allocations.
🗂️ Our Org Com: Organising yet another event! Thank you to Polyxeni Damigou, Nour Al-Tzaratli, Mila Poznevic, Orfear Panagiotopoulos, and Bogdan Kaludjerović (who also happened to be our Convener!). Your hard work made this tournament possible.
🎓 Our Student Club Advisor: Solon Molho, who stood by us throughout the planning process, offering support, guidance, and encouragement every step of the way.
❤️ Our Volunteers: Alexandra Chester, Dimitris Balfousias, Efthalia Orfani, and Lily Yas, who, despite their own busy schedules, stepped in to support the Org Com without hesitation.
And last but certainly not least, the most special thank you goes to Alexia Skourtsi.
This was Alexia’s final invitational as a Deree student. Your passion, dedication, and commitment over the years have been incredible and inspiring. You made Debate Club—and every invitational—more memorable through your presence, your energy, and, of course, your sense of humour.
We love you so much, Alexia. Thank you for choosing to spend your Fridays with us for the past four years—to debate, to grow, to laugh, and to build a community together. Your impact on this club will always be felt, and you will always be part of the Deree Debate family. ❤️
