Δήλωση του Υπάτου Μεγάλου Ταξιάρχη του 33ου για την Ελλάδα

Με αφορμή τις σημερινές δημοσιεύσεις στον τουρκικό και διεθνή Τύπο για τη σύλληψη του Μεγάλου Διδασκάλου της Τουρκίας με κατηγορίες οικονομικής φύσεως, ο Ύπατος Μέγας Ταξιάρχης του 33ου και τελευταίου βαθμού του Αρχαίου και Αποδεδεγμένου Σκωτικού Τύπου για την Ελλάδα έκανε την ακόλουθη δήλωση:
«Προσωπικά λυπούμαι βαθύτατα όταν ο Τεκτονισμός, που διδάσκει εντιμότητα, αξιοπρέπεια και αυτογνωσία, εμφανίζεται στη δημόσια σφαίρα μέσα από υποθέσεις που δεν συνάδουν με τις αξίες του.
Ως άνθρωπος, εύχομαι ο συγκεκριμένος αδελφός να βρει το δίκιο του, εφόσον και όπου το έχει.
Ωστόσο, οφείλω να υπενθυμίσω ότι το Ύπατο Συμβούλιο του 33ου για την Ελλάδα ουδέποτε είχε σχέσεις ή οποιαδήποτε μορφή επικοινωνίας με τον τουρκικό τεκτονισμό.»
Στη συνέχεια, ο Ύπατος Μέγας Ταξιάρχης επεσήμανε:
«Αντιθέτως, είναι γνωστό ποιοι, στο πρόσφατο παρελθόν, προσεκάλεσαν από τη γείτονα χώρα πρόσωπα για να εγκαταστήσουν στην Ελλάδα μία δύναμη που να μοιάζει με φιλοσοφικό τεκτονισμό.
Ίσως ήρθε ο καιρός οι ίδιοι και όσοι τους ακολουθούν να αναλογιστούν τις επιλογές τους και τις συνέπειες που αυτές έχουν για την ενότητα και το κύρος του Τάγματος.»
Statement of the Sovereign Grand Commander of the Supreme Council 33° for Greece
Athens, October 17, 2025
Following today’s reports in the Turkish and international press concerning the arrest of the Grand Master of Turkey on charges of financial misconduct, the Sovereign Grand Commander of the Supreme Council, 33° and Last Degree of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite for Greece, made the following statement:
“I am personally saddened whenever Freemasonry — which teaches honesty, integrity, and self-respect — appears in the public sphere through incidents that are inconsistent with its moral principles.
As a human being, I sincerely hope that the Brother concerned will find justice, wherever and to whatever extent it may be due.
Nevertheless, I must remind that the Supreme Council for Greece has never maintained any relations or communication whatsoever with Turkish Freemasonry.”
The Sovereign Grand Commander further noted:
“On the contrary, it is well known who, in the recent past, invited individuals from the neighboring country to establish in Greece a body that might resemble a philosophical branch of Freemasonry.
Perhaps it is now time for them — and for those who follow them — to reflect upon their actions and the consequences they bear for the unity and dignity of the Craft.”
