INVESTING IN SAFETY, TRAINING & PROFESSIONAL EXCELLENCE
At The American College of Greece, the safety and well-being of our community remain a fundamental priority.
Our swimming pool recently hosted a dedicated Lifeguard Training and Aquatic Safety Seminar, providing our lifeguarding team with an opportunity to refresh and further develop their knowledge, practical skills, and emergency response readiness.
The training included:
🔹 First Aid and CPR refresher training, with a focus on appropriate responses to drowning incidents involving different age groups.
🔹 Practical in-water rescue exercises, covering essential rescue techniques and emergency response procedures within a swimming pool environment.
🔹 Lifeguard swimming assessments and practical skills testing, supporting the ongoing evaluation of swimming proficiency, physical readiness, and rescue capabilities.
Continuous professional development and regular skills assessment are essential to maintaining a safe and well-prepared aquatic environment.
Through ongoing training and a strong commitment to best practices, our Aquatics team continues to uphold the highest standards of safety, preparedness, and professionalism for our students, athletes, members, and wider ACG community.
