EMSEV Workshop 2024 will be hosted by the Institute of Physics of the Earth’s Interior and Geohazards, Hellenic Mediterranean University Research and Innovation (IPEIG) & National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA) and it will be held 6-9 October 2024, at the Great Arsenal, Chania, Crete, Greece. The EMSEV 2024 Workshop will emphasize on understanding earthquakes and volcanoes from lithosphere to space.

Electromagnetic Studies of Earthquakes and Volcanoes (EMSEV) is an inter-association working group of IUGG. It focuses on the observation and understanding of the various kinds of electromagnetic phenomena associated with earthquakes and volcanic eruptions.

The attendee will have the chance to meet important representatives of research, discuss with them and exchange ideas. This will accomplish the aim of the workshop, which is the generation of new and vigorous interactions between the different aforementioned scientific fields leading to enormous positive effects in our societies.
