Ολοκληρώθηκαν τα επιμορφωτικά σεμινάρια φυσικής δόμησης, αποτέλεσμα της συνεργασίας της Αρχιτεκτονική Σχολής του Πολυτεχνείου Κρήτης με το Γαλλικό Κέντρο Εκπαίδευσης Οικολογικών Κατασκευών Νoria et Compagnie, μέσα στα πλαίσια του προγράμματος Erasmus+.
Τα σεμινάρια αφορούσαν την κατανόηση αλλά και την πρακτική εφαρμογή δύο διαφορετικών τεχνικών δόμησης με φυσικά υλικά: ΑΧΥΡΟΠΗΛΟΣ ( straw&earth), 17-21 Οκτωβρίου και ΤΣΑΤΜΑΣ-ΜΠΑΓΔΑΤΙ ( wattle&daub ), 24-28 Οκτωβρίου. Έλαβαν χώρα στο χωριό Βαφέ, Αποκορώνου. Οι εργασίες που πραγματοποιήθηκαν είχαν στόχο την συμβολή στην αποκατάσταση του παλιού σχολείου του χωριού.
Στον συντονισμό της δράσης συμμετείχαν οι καθηγητές του Noria et Compagnie Mary Jamin και Eric Roger, η επίκουρη καθηγήτρια της Αρχιτεκτονικής Σχολής του Πολυτεχνείου Κρήτης, Μαρία Μανδαλάκη και οι τελειόφοιτες της Αρχιτεκτονικής, Παππά Αγγελική και Σδράκα Αλεξάνδρα.
Ευχαριστούμε όλους τους συμμετέχοντες του σεμιναρίου για την επίμονη εργασία και συνεργασία σε όλα τα επίπεδα και τους κατοίκους του Βαφέ για την απλόχερη φιλοξενία τους.
Two earth structures workshops have been completed. The workshops are the outcome of collaboration between the School of Architecture, of Technical University of Crete and the French Center for Training of Eco Constructions, Noria et Compagnie, France, within the framework of the Erasmus+ program.
Two different building techniques with natural materials were elaborated both theoretically and practically: STRAW AND EARTH, October 17-21 and WATTLE AND DAUB, October 24-28. The workshops took place in the village of Vafe, Apokoronas, Crete. The works carried out contributed to the restoration of an old stone school of the village.
Coordination: Mary Jamin and Eric Roger, Trainers of Noria et Compagnie, Maria Mandalaki, Assistant professor of the School of Architecture of the Technical University of Crete and students of Architecture School TUC, Pappa Angeliki and Sdraka Alexandra.
